Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a passion for everything Payroll and Accounts to join our team in our friendly St Helens Office. The successful candidate will work alongside our Accounts and Payroll team, learning start to end payroll, sales and purchase ledger

What you'll do at work

Learning the payroll process from start to finish, our payroll is processed through Sage Payroll Learning about payroll administration including pensions etc. Assisting with entering hours from timesheets into payroll data sheets to format the weekly payroll Learning how to raise sales invoices through Sage 50, shadowing the accounts team until condiment to work alone assisting with both the accounts and payroll team

Training

Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.

What you'll learn

Training schedule

The apprentice will attend weekly at St Helens College (During term time)

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

Maths and English (grade A-C or 4-9)
