Apprentices will learn the majority of skills required in each department. You will spend 6 weeks within our training room where you will learn the basics of component recognition, soldering, mechanical assembly, health and safety, about the company, etc. You will then move on to a rotation plan.

Stores – booking in, dispatch, kitting, verification, inspecting, picking, packing PCBA/SMT – setup for the machines, using the surface mount machines, wash machine, breakout of printed circuit boards, soldering PCBs, inspecting Unit Assembly – mechanical assembly of box builds/units Test – testing of products to ensure they work correctly and are safe to go to the customer Engineering – maintenance of surface mount machines and programmes, assisting with queries on the shopfloor# Purchasing – understanding how components and other items are ordered Account management – understanding the customer journey
