As an AAT apprentice, you will be assisting in the management and delivery of our core services toour client portfolio with the below key tasks being carried out: Bookkeeping using excel and accounting software packages (Sage, Xero and/or QuickBooks). Prepare draft VAT Returns ready for review by the senior members of the team. Assist with the preparation of management accounts. Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies. Assist with the preparation of sole trader/partnership accounts. Processing payroll for clients fortnightly/monthly/annually (depending on client’s paymentcycle) on BrightPay. Dealing with administration for workplace pension and payroll requirements (including Autoenrolments). Liaising with clients for their records and answering any queries they may have with regardsto bookkeeping and payroll in order to build and maintain good working relationships withthem. Prepare returns and other documents for filing with Companies House and/or HMRC asinstructed. General office admin and filing
