About this role

Start your career in quality assurance with SPL, a company operating to high standards within a precision engineering and aerospace environment. As a Quality Assurance Technician Apprentice, you will support the inspection and testing of components to ensure they meet strict customer specifications, industry regulations, and internal quality standards.

You’ll gain hands-on experience using measuring and testing equipment, reviewing production documentation, and carrying out inspections at different stages of the process. Working closely with both the Quality and Production teams, you’ll help identify non-conforming parts, maintain accurate records, and ensure all products are right first time before dispatch.

This apprenticeship is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail who enjoys working in a structured, process-driven environment. You’ll develop valuable skills in quality control, problem solving, and compliance, building a strong foundation for a long-term career in quality assurance within manufacturing.
