Sales Assistant

Full Job Description - This role is subject to a successful DBS check
Sales Assistant required for busy shop and Post Office, this role requires flexibility in regards to shifts as there are early openings (6am) and late closes (10pm), previous key holder experience would be advantageous, the store is open 7 days a week and includes weekend shifts.

20-24hrs per week

We are looking for a friendly individual with a "can do" attitude who doesn't mind rolling up their sleeves and getting stuck in, whether that be on the shop floor, serving customers on the till, taking customer orders over the phone or taking a turn at delivering to our customers homes during your shift!! We have 2 fully insured delivery cars, all you you need is a full driving licence held for more than 2yrs!!

Duties and tasks include -

Greeting customers in cheerful manner.

Serving customers on shop & Post Office Counter

Picking orders for Snappy Shopper deliveries.

Cleaning and maintaining the store.

Working deliveries and replenishing stock.

Ability to understand and implement verbal instruction.

Polite & customer orientated.

Positive ‘can do’ attitude, self motivated & a quick learner.

Able to work independently & as part of a team.

Previous experience essential.

Heavy lifting will be involved.

This job involves manual lifting and carrying of stock

Week days and weekend availability required.

As the store is licensed we ask all applicants to be over 18

21 & over for insurance on delivery cars

This is a permanent position.
