We are looking for a Part Time Temporary Retail Assistant to join the team in our Byrkley Park Garden Centre.
Our competitive rates of pay range is dependent on age.
The hours for this position are 7 per week on Sunday.
This is a temporary role until July 2026
The Role
As a General Retail Assistant, you have a responsibility to provide excellent customer service, creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers helping them to make informed purchases.
What you will be doing as a General Retail Assistant?
Till operation and serving customer
Stock replenishment and merchandising across all department
Creating and maintaining fabulous product displays
Assisting our customer across the Centre taking every opportunity to WOW.
Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed
Assisting customers with carrying purchases to their cars
Collecting trolleys and shopping baskets
What makes you our perfect General Retail Assistant?
Friendly, with an engaging personality and a genuine love for customer service.
Knowledge of Garden Centre products preferred but not essential as full training will be given
Strong customer service skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Great teamwork.
Hardworking
Shift flexibility including weekends.
