About this role

This role as a Ward Clerk at Emerald Place Clinic, part of Elysium Healthcare, offers an opportunity to join a supportive team and contribute to the administrative operations of a general adolescent inpatient unit. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day administrative support, including updating records, managing schedules, and assisting with various clerical duties. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. As a Ward Clerk, you will be responsible for supporting the administrative team with general administration and providing clerical and typing duties. You will use information technology to produce various documents and electronic information, manage and update relevant data using database applications, and maintain and update filing and record-keeping systems. Additionally, you will be tasked with updating information, answering and directing calls, and assisting the wards as required, such as typing, stationery management, and recording of service user medical appointments.

Essential:

  • To be successful in this role, you will need knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, excellent organizational and communication skills, the ability to adapt to changes in service, and strong interpersonal skills.
