Training and Qualifications

Essential:

• Level 2 Housekeeping Diploma or NVQ 2 Support Service qualification or equivalent qualification. Level 2 Food Hygiene.

Desirable:

• NVQ2 Customer care.COPC Certificate. Infection Control.

Knowledge and Experience

Essential:

• Previous experience in a Housekeeping/Support Services role Understanding importance /relevance of good food hygiene practice. Ability to deal with complaints and any other issues.

Desirable:

• Previous experience in a Housekeeping/Support Services role Understanding importance /relevance of good food hygiene practice. Ability to deal with complaints and any other issues.
• Food Service experience.

Skills

Essential:

• Good verbal & written communication skills. Good literacy and numeracy skills. Ability to use own Initiative when necessary. Able to work alone, or as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Able to report & feedback effectively.

Desirable:

• Ability to prioritise tasks.

• Drive and enthusiasm. Calm disposition. Non-judgemental approach. Empathy towards Service Users Ability to prioritise tasks.

• Flexible and adaptable approach Able to work unsociable hours. The post holder will be required to work across SSL/Trust Sites. Full, clean Driving Licence. Good Attendance record
