About this role

Adele Carr Recruitment are currently looking for a finance junior to work in a highly reputable business. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to start their career within finance and administration while gaining valuable experience supporting the Credit Control and Revenue Control teams.

You will play a key role in providing administrative support, maintaining accurate records and assisting with customer queries to help ensure the smooth running of the working capital function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support to the Credit Control and Revenue Control teams
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of financial reports
  • Generate and issue customer statements
  • Provide copy invoices to customers when requested
  • Support the team with ad-hoc administrative duties as required
  • Ensure documentation and records are accurate and up to date
  • Assist the team in meeting reporting deadlines and operational targets

Skills & Experience

  • Good computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Outlook)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional and confident telephone manner
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Desirable

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role such as retail, hospitality, or customer service
  • An interest in developing a career within finance, accounts, or administration
