Residential Porter

We are seeking a professional, reliable, and proactive Residential Porter to manage the day-to-day running of a residential building and provide excellent service to residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the smooth daily operation of the building
• Ensure the safety, security, cleanliness, and presentation of all communal areas
• Monitor CCTV and control access for residents, visitors, deliveries, and contractors
• Carry out regular building inspections and report maintenance issues, defects, and safety concerns
• Coordinate and supervise contractors on site
• Manage refuse and recycling areas and liaise with the local council where needed
• Carry out weekly fire alarm tests and support emergency procedures
• Maintain records/logs for inspections, complaints, incidents, and keys
• Assist residents and act as a professional first point of contact
• Respond to out-of-hours emergencies where required

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Porter, Caretaker, or in residential building management preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, hands-on, and highly organised
• Professional, discreet, and able to work independently
• Basic understanding of health & safety and building maintenance
