Working within the Campus Services directorate based at the University of the West of Scotland’s Paisley Campus you will work alongside a friendly and supportive team and will participate in the day-to-day programme of cleaning services to ensure that the campus facilities are maintained in a clean, safe and hygienic condition.

The successful candidate should have the following:

• Experience working within an Industrial/Commercial cleaning environment is essential
• You must possess a basic understanding of Health & Safety requirements within a workplace; further training will be provided.
• Ability to demonstrate working in a customer focused role with an emphasis on providing quality service
• Demonstrate good customer service skills. Proficient in both written and spoken English – sufficient to meeting the communication and training requirements for the role.
• Ability to work in a team and on your own.

Hours of duty are as follows:

Morning Shift

• Monday: 6:00am – 10:00am
• Tuesday–Friday: 6:00am – 9:00am

Afternoon Shift

• Monday: 1:00pm – 5:00pm
• Tuesday–Friday: 2:00pm – 5:00pm

A degree of flexibility is also required to meet the needs of the business.
