Summary

We are a independent accounting firm in Horsforth, Leeds. The role will encompass on the job training and college day release. This role will suit a candidate with a high level of numeracy and time management skills. The candidate will have a relevant Degree and/or AAT Qualified with a sound understanding of practical accounting.

What you'll do at work

Preparation of self-assessment tax returns Preparation of annual and corporation accounts Preparation of VAT returns Handle HMRC queries and correspondence General admin tasks as and when required Management of client financial records and bookkeeping Provide exceptional customer service to clients via phone and email Commit to personal professional development and share knowledge with peers

Training

Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.

What you'll learn

Act as a role model and motivate others to deliver results.Evaluate information quickly and draw accurate conclusions. Assess a problem from multiple angles  to ensure all relevant issues are considered. Gather the appropriate facts and evidence in order to make decisions effectively.
