Qualifications

Essential:

  • On the NMC register Current registration-Adult Nurse Level 1 Degree level
  • Willingness to undertake accreditation in colposcopy becoming a BSCCP Trainee
  • Sound knowledge of nursing theory and best practice with a range of clinical experience and significant experience working in relevant clinical specialty area at Band 5 or above

Desirable:

  • Evidence of Mentorship Training

  • Willingness to undertake accreditation in colposcopy becoming a BSCCP Trainee
  • A strong interest in promoting excellent healthcare care for women and people with a cervix
  • Sound knowledge of nursing theory and best practice with a range of clinical experience and significant experience working in relevant clinical specialty area at Band 5 or above
  • Ability to communicate complex or sensitive information about well-being to anxious patients
  • Excellent management skills of self and others
  • Awareness of professional issues
  • Awareness of issues of equality/ diversity and culture
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Ability to exert sustained moderate physical effort.
