We have an exciting and rare
opportunity to welcome a new member to our family as we prepare to open our
brand-new Enhanced Resource Base (ERB) for pupils with autism in September 2026.
This is a chance to help shape, grow and lead a brand-new provision at its very
beginning, and we hope that person might be you!
We are looking for an Enhanced
Resource Base Teacher who:
- Places
children at the centre of every decision and builds warm, nurturing and
trusting relationships.
- Is
a skilled, reflective practitioner with experience of supporting pupils
with autism.
- Can
lead the day‑to‑day provision for up to 10 pupils within the new ERB,
ensuring high expectations.
- Can
act as the school’s autism specialist, promoting best practice and guiding
colleagues.
- Brings
creativity, enthusiasm and a commitment to shaping a quality brand‑new
provision.
- Works
collaboratively and with a positive, team‑focused approach and can manage a
small team of Teaching Assistants.
- Works
closely with families, external professionals and mainstream class
teachers to support pupil progress, smooth transitions and meaningful
inclusion.
- Can
oversee and complete statutory paperwork, including EHCP reviews, ensuring
high‑quality, timely and accurate documentation.
