About this role

Waterfront UTC is seeking to appoint a highly effective Student Support Officer to join the Pastoral Team, to start from April 2026.

We are seeking a dedicated Student Support Officer to shape positive outcomes for our students. You will provide pastoral support, promote wellbeing, and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.

This is a full time, permanent role, Term Time Only +1 week, paid on the NJC pay scale C1 point 6-19 (FTE £25,989- £32,061- actual salary calculated on a pro rata basis which equates to £22,353- £27,576 per annum).

The working pattern will consist of 37 hours per week, Monday-Thursday 8:00-16:00, and Friday 8:00-15:30, with a 30-minute unpaid break each day.
