About this role

This is a great opportunity to build skills in dental care while supporting patients through their treatment journey. You'll work closely with dental nurses, dentists and reception colleagues to help clinics run smoothly and provide a calm, reassuring experience for patients. This development role offers structured training, including the National Examining Board for Dental Nurses (NEBDN) qualification, giving you the foundation to progress into a qualified Dental Nurse role. Qualifications

Essential:

  • GCSE Maths and English grade C or above
  • NEBDN Qualification to be undertaken within an agreed timeframe as part of the development role

Knowledge

Essential:

  • Knowledge of a range of administrative procedures
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Dental Services
  • Knowledge of HTM105

Experience

Essential:

  • Experience in reception / front line patient facing environment
  • Recent evidence or working in a patient care environment
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good listening skills
  • Able to adapt to different situations

Desirable:

  • Experience of working in a clinical environment
  • Dental clinical experience
  • Evidence of personal professional development
